Consultation

Consultation can be provided to students, families, schools, and other caregivers. It is important to access resources available to ensure that students are prepared to accessing education that addresses the needs of the whole individual.

FAMILY CONSULTATION

Schedule some time to discuss any of the following:

• the special education system

• problem solving difficult roadblocks in learning

• educational placements

• ideas to support progress at home

Also available to communicate with the school:

• attend IEP meetings

• attend Parent/ Teacher Conferences

• Email and/or phone communication with teachers, etc.

(For school age students, some minimal consultation will be required on a regular basis to discuss progress and new information.)

School Consultation Package

Includes an audit of the effectiveness of the programming in your school to support all students, followed by a report including summaries and recommendations with the option for staff training.

School Professional Development Sessions

Already know what you need? Schedule finite time for small group or 1:1 professional development. Possible topics include:
